List #65 - 5 places I browse when I want better taste, not more stuff

Sometimes we need to get away from the Wirecutters of the world, and into a fantasyland where we are baptized in pure inspiration. When we crave taste, not a “buy now” experience. These are mine at the moment!

  1. The Art of Discovery by Carla Tomillo

Specifically, she has a great piece on What Designers Wear.

  2. House & Gardens UK

For all your house and gardens inspiration, this is a reference I’ve used so many times you guys are all probably so sick of me talking about it. But I refuse to sit quietly.

  3. Remodelista

My new obsession. Remodelista loves a deep dive into the intricacies of your home, like this piece on 12 Bathrooms with Fixtures that are Everything but White.

  4. Pinterest but not for shopping (my Pinterest in the link)

Pinterest is still murky ground for me, although I do a lot of digging there. I find the more time I spend going beyond my initial search inquiry, the more inspired I feel on the platform. I especially found Pinterest to be useful when wedding planning, hence my bridal boards! Dreamy.

  5. Curbed

Another obsession. Just try sitting down with Curbed on a Saturday morning with a fresh cappuccino and a croissant and not spending the next six hours immersed in design hunting.
