List #53 - 5 pieces that make my closet feel quieter (NOT quiet luxury)

Let’s talk about what it means to have a “quiet closet”. I’m not talking quiet luxury. I mean quiet in the sense that your closet and purchase history aren’t burdened by trends that have gone by the wayside and feel inauthentic to your style. A quiet closet is a confident closet. A closet that feels truly you. I am not all the way to my own quiet closet, but here are five pieces that make it less “noisy”.

  1. My Intimissimi shirts.

Everyone is so sick of me talking about these shirts, but I swear by them. The boat neck adds a little something different, but they look classic and feel so good on the skin. I have them in multiple colors. They’re not inexpensive, but at least for me they’ve become a staple.

  2. This Leset tank top.

I love a girly pointelle and this tank top has been worn through and through. I am going to branch out to their long-sleeve next!

  3. These Levi’s 501 90’s jeans.

My most well-worn jeans this year. Classics for a reason.

  4. My Onitsuka Tigers.

Again, not inexpensive and they’re mysteriously hard to find? But they add the pop of color I want without being overwhelming.

  5. My leopard coat.

This is a Free People coat and has just the right weight level on my body. It somehow keeps me warm but I never get sweaty? RARE. I have yet to find it in their shop again though…
